the girl behind the camera... the chaos wrangler... the toddler negotiator... the storyteller.

Chasing Sunday started the way a lot of beautiful things do… in the middle of early motherhood, when everything feels messy and soft and overwhelming and magical all at once. After my second baby, I found myself craving something that felt like mine again. I mentioned it to my husband, and the very next day he came home with a camera. That tiny moment of “here, this is yours” changed everything.

You're probably thinking...
why Chasing Sunday?

Because Sundays just hit different... slow mornings, sunshine sneaking through the curtains, kids pottering around, hair unbrushed, nothing rushed…

Those warm, quietly chaotic moments where life feels softer and somehow more honest. That’s what I’m chasing, and what I want for you. Not staged perfection. Not forced smiles. But the moments that feel like memory even while you’re still living them.

Feel like we’d get along?

How I see things + what matters to me...

I’m a little obsessed with how quickly time moves, how childhood changes in quiet, simple ways, and how photos become the way we remember it all.

So I focus on the little things: newborn fuzz, giggles, freckles, warm light, messy hair, the way your babies reach for you. The everyday moments that end up meaning everything.

I care about creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are, tired, joyful, chaotic, soft. No perfection needed.

I’m here to capture your real season, and the memories your future selves (and your kids) will hold onto long after this moment has passed.

Hi fam! I’m Chantelle-25.png

Fun facts about me!

Certified coffee girlie

Wannabe plant mum (half survive, half are on life support)

Married to the guy who builds whatever I dream up, even if he’s on his last tether

Mama of two wild boys

Our cocker spaniel thinks she’s the main character… and she’s probably right

Sundays are my religion: slow mornings, sunshine, and pottering with my family

What I love about this work...

The people. Every time.

Being welcomed into your family’s world, even for an hour, is something I’ll never take for granted. Some days, it barely feels like a “session.” It feels more like reconnecting with people I somehow already know. The returning families, the familiar little faces, the “oh my gosh, look how big you are now!” moments, they fill me up more than I can ever put into words.

I love connection.
I love realness.
I love showing you how beautiful your life already is, even in the chaos.

This job? It feels like a privilege.
And I’m obsessed with it.

If you’re nodding along and thinking “yep, she’s our girl,” I’d love to meet your family and photograph all the beautiful, ordinary magic you're living right now.
