Got a Wild Kid? A Spicy Brain? You’re My Kind of Family.

Let me say this first.

Your child doesn’t need to sit still. They don’t need to smile on command and they definitely don’t need to be “perfect” for family photos.

Some kids are loud. Some kids need movement. Some need space before trusting someone new.

The goal at Chasing Sunday has never been perfectly behaved children lined up looking at the camera.

It’s connection. Always.

Before your session, let’s have a proper chat. I’ll call you and we’ll talk about personalities, triggers, sensory needs, comfort items, breaks and all the things that help your child feel safe and comfortable.

By the time your session starts, I’m not meeting a stranger.

I already know your kid.

That means I can move at their pace, follow their energy and create a session that works for them, not against them.

Sometimes that looks like running.

Sometimes it looks like quiet cuddles.

Sometimes it looks a little chaotic.

But chaos is often where the real moments live.

Families with neurodivergent kids often tell me they’ve avoided photos because they’re worried it will be stressful.

My job is to make sure it isn’t.

No pressure.

No judgement.

Just a photographer who understands that different doesn’t mean difficult. It just means we do things a little differently.

And honestly?

Those sessions are usually the ones that stay with me the longest.

If you’ve been putting off family photos because you’re not sure how your child will go, let’s chat first. We can talk it through and see what feels right for your family.
